Affirmative Action for Boys

Should boys get extra points on their application? Colleges are doing this today because girls have been dominating. It’s gotten to be unbalanced so colleges are trying to have a balance of boys and girls. Girls usually do better in school because they are used to sitting for a long period of time. For boys it’s much harder to sit for a long time because they want to run and move. Boys should get extra points on their college application. For one, the balance between boys and girls is getting uneven and the girls are at the top. The second reason is that girls are used to sitting for a long time while boys need to be active. So girls have an easier time in school. Finally, girls don’t want a college full of girls.
Girls are starting to dominate so colleges are trying to balance the amount of boys and the amount of girls. Colleges don’t want a college to be pure girls because then it wouldn’t be fair to boys.
Schools are designed for girls. Girls are used to sitting for a long period of time; on the other hand, boys need to be active and moving. This gives girls a big advantage over boys. They usually do better in school because of this.
IF you think about it girls don’t want to have pure girls in their college or 20% boys and 80% girls. Girls want guys to be in colleges, so that college could be fun. Guys need these points, so that in college there could be even amount of boys and girls.
